Dungeons & Dragons

Ever since I could read I've been picking up Dungeons & Dragons books and reading them cover to cover. These books are possibly hundreds of pages long and can be put to use in almost any fantastical setting. I've been playing D&D for about 6 years solid but for the first couple of years before that I was just getting used to it and finding out exactly why I would come to love it so much. I may seem like some kind of nerd now but before you reach for hate always reach for a hardback Dungeons & Dragons version 3.5 Player's Handbook.

The essential books for playing D&D are:
  • Player's Handbook
  • Dungeon Master's Guide
  • Monster Manual

  • Complete Psionics
  • Complete Adventurer
  • Player Handbook 2
  • Complete Scoundrel
Best Places to Play D&D
  1. Basement
  2. Camping Trip
  3. Living Room
  4. My friend's family's ranch
I know. I know. I guess I am a total nerd, but I gladly accept this due to the fact that this game is extremely fun and if you haven't tried it before at least give it a chance and try it once.

 D&D in My Life

Since picking up Dungeons & Dragons I have become a much more intelligent person. These books are packed with things like graphs, maps, charts full of data, and intelligent ways to use your creativity. D&D has helped my drastically to become a smarter, more creative me and I highly recommend at least going to your local gaming store and taking a look at their selection of Dungeons & Dragons books.
