Super Bowl XXX took place in Tempe, Arizona. It was a match up between the Dallas Cowboys and the Pittsburg Steelers.  It was a rematch of two previous Super Bowls, both won by the Steelers.  There hadn’t been a Super Bowl between two greatly heated rivals like these two in decades.  It was a championship with much build up and anticipation.  Dallas capped of the opening drive with a field goal from Chris Boniol.  On their next possession, Aikman threw a 3-yard touchdown pass to Jay Novacek to make the score 10-O.  After stopping the Steelers offense, the Cowboys were able to add 3 more points to the board.  They game seemed to slip away form the Steelers, but Neil O’Donnell threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to Yancey Thigpen just before the half to pull them within 6 points of the Cowboys.
