| As a solo experiment Andrew McMahon formed Jack's Mannequin in 2004. In August 2005, Jack's Mannequin released their first and only album to date, Everything in Transit. McMahon was previously the front man for the band Something Corporate. The band originated in Orange County, California and are currently signed with Sire Records. The band members include: | |

| A Long Island, NY alternative rock band, Brand New became noticed in the music scene in 2001 with the release of their first album, Your Favorite Weapon. Since then, they have released two other albums including Deja Entendu in 2003 and The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me in 2006. Their current label is Interscope but they have released previous work under Triple Crown and Iodine. The band members include: | |

The Shins |

| The Shins are an indie rock band from Portland, Oregon. The band formed in 1997 when the band Flake disbanded and all members reformed to become The Shins. The Shins released their first album in 2001 entitled Oh, Inverted World. The band released their second album, Chutes Too Narrow, in 2003 and their third in 2007 called Wincing the Night Away. The band is currently linked to the label Sub Pop. The band members include: | |

Maria Taylor |

| Maria Taylor began her solo singer/songwriter career in 2005 with the release of her first album, 11:11, with Saddle Creek Records. Lynn Teeter Flower, her second solo endeavor, was released in 2007. Taylor can play multiple instruments including piano, guitar and drums and is associated with many other artists for vocal and musical collaborations. Taylor resides in Birmingham, Alabama. | |

tour in the United States until the end of November. As part of her tour, Maria Taylor played at Emo's in Austin on September 20. |
